A great bonus to Dr. Yin’s style is that now that I know HOW to shape behavior, I can apply it to LOTS of living situations with my dog; it is far more than just heel/sit/come/stay. - Rachel Laforest A great bonus to Dr. Yin’s style is that now that I know HOW to shape behavior, I can apply it to LOTS of living situations with my dog; it is far more than just heel/sit/come/stay. - Rachel Laforest

Everyone expects Fido to know how to sit, come when called, and greet you and your friends at the door. But did you know that you can teach a cat to be this attentive and outgoing too? In kitty kindergarten, you’ll learn how to socialize kittens to all kinds of people, other pets and new situations so they take it all in stride. You’ll also learn how to teach your kitten to enjoy daily handling procedures such as toenail trims and grooming. And we’ll teach kitty some basic manners, such as sitting politely for what he wants instead of demanding in a loud meow.
Puppy Preschool »
Puppies can learn five bad behaviors in a day. How about teaching them five good behaviors instead? In puppy preschool, people learn how to foster good greeting and play skills in their pup, how to provide good experiences with new people, and how to train their pup to love everyday procedures such as nail trims, so that their puppy can grow up to be a trusting, relaxed dog in all environments—including at the veterinarian.
Dog Training for People and Pooches »
Well-behaved dogs get to enjoy more activities with their human family. In this two-hour workshop, combined with a six-week hands-on course, you’ll have fun while you gain the tools to teach your dog to look to you for leadership, say please by sitting for everything he wants, come when called instead of blowing you off, walk nicely on leash and much more. You’ll gain the basic foundation skills you need to help your canine companion become an integral part of your family life.
Dog Play Skills »
Do you wish your dog could play happily with other dogs? Do you keep him out of play situations because you're afraid of what might happen? In this three-week class, you will learn how to get dogs to greet each other appropriately, what types of play are productive, what signs in your dog say he’s had enough or he’d rather not be there, and how to know if the dog park or other social situations are appropriate for your pooch.
